Bring Snoop Dogg To Your College Campus While Earning Money For Your School
In need of money for your school? Interested in a DJ set featuring Snoop Dogg near your college campus? Well look no further, as the “Tilt for Snoop” competition has you set.
In San Francisco, California as of Oct. 9 of this year, Tilt has announced that Snoop Dogg will appear on the college campus with the most Tilt campaigns between October and December 31 of this year.
According to the press release, Tilt is the “easiest and most flexible way to collect, fundraise or pool money.” And with Snoop Dogg as a friend and user of Tilt, the “Tilt for Snoop” campaign was almost a no-brainer.
Plus, your college can earn money for all sorts of activities:
“Tilt helps groups collect money for parties, tailgates, dues, co-ed sports teams, philanthropies and everything in between for FREE!”
All college students have to do is decide on what to collect money for and set the minimum amount necessary to achieve this goal, also known as the “Tilt amount.”
No student is charged unless the minimum goal is met, so really the entire campaign is a completely risk-free, win-win opportunity and one well worth participating in.
So who’s eligible for this prize? According to the press release, any student attending an “accredited undergraduate institution” in the continental United States. It really is that easy.
As stated in the press release, earning Tilt Points for this competition can occur in the following ways: by mobile downloads (which are worth 10 points), the number of Tilt contributors (worth 20 points) and having a successful Tilt (worth 50 points).
This accumulation of points will ultimately decide which college campus earns the opportunity to see a Snoop Dogg performance at their school before the end of the 2014-2015 school year.
In order to keep track of the points coming in from different academic institutions around the U.S., Tilt has come up with a dynamic leaderboard in which all accumulated points by each institution can be found and tallied.
However, there are regulations in regards to being included in this leaderboard. Eligibility requires each school to have 100 contributors from their campus in order to be included in the display, according to the press release.
Another important factor to watch out for are the Tilt ambassadors on your college campus:
“If your school has a Tilt ambassador on campus, they will be giving out ‘Scratcher Cards’ with promo codes specific to your school, so seek them out!”
All official rules and regulations can be found here.
